How it works

Will changing width and height really resize the downloaded image?
Yes. The output is rendered onto a new canvas using the dimensions you enter, then encoded into the selected format.
Does the quality slider work for PNG?
No. PNG is a lossless format, so the quality slider does not control PNG compression. JPG and WebP support a quality value when exported with the browser canvas API.
Can I convert PNG to JPG or WebP?
Yes. Upload the PNG, select JPG or WebP, then download. JPG uses a white background where the source has transparency.
Will the original image be uploaded?
No. The image is decoded and processed locally in your browser using the Canvas API.
